I must first admit, that this review is LONG overdue! Mike (my hubs) and myself both LOVE Shanna and Mike. They are such an incredible couple & their love for each other and photography shines through in their images. We booked them for our wedding this past June and have already recommended them to various friends & family. We first met them on the day of our engagement shoot. Mike (my hubs) was not exactly looking forward to the shoot… he was expecting an awkward session with two strangers placing us in awkward positions. To his surprise, our experience was the complete opposite! Shanna and Mike were so friendly and instantly made us feel comfortable – from talking about our wedding to our shared Amazon shopping problems… they felt like instant friends! When we saw the engagement photos – we were in love! The wedding was no different – it was great having Shanna with the bridal party and Mike with the groomsmen. They captured some awesome moments of the two groups getting ready & helped to keep on us track for our schedule. We decided to do a “first look” and I cannot tell you how much I LOVE those images. I mean I honestly love them all, but I am super happy we did the first look! We had a fairly large wedding party & had a few large family pictures that were requested – Shanna was AWESOME at making sure everyone was gathered and posed quickly AND everyone was actually smiling, eyes opened! Throughout the whole day & night, Shanna & Mike captured SO MANY incredible moments and emotions. We actually had a wedding guest come up to us and say, “Your photographers are awesome, they are everywhere! Every time I turn around they are there.” Watching the slideshow of images on my TV was like reliving our big day all over again. So, so, so many emotions – THANK YOU HOLP, Shanna & Mike, you two are the best… NOW to come up with an excuse for another photoshoot! 😉 PS- the fact that HOLP gives you rights to download/print all images is amazing & just another reason for you to book them- DO IT!

I don't know where to begin with Shanna and Mike other than to simply say- we LOVED them. Their pictures are gorgeous and can speak for themselves, but what you really need to know is just how amazing these two are as people. It felt like we had two more friends at our wedding celebrating with us. On the day of our wedding, we were faced with torrential rains, making our outdoor pictures impossible to get- and they both calmly adapted to our new indoor setting, reassured us that everything would be great, and DELIVERED with their gorgeous photos. In addition to this, they have such an effortless way of making you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and making you genuinely smile and laugh rather than feeling awkward. I can't say enough about these two, but I can promise that if you choose them to share your day with, it won't be a decision you regret. We wish we could get married all over just so we could hang out with Shanna and Mike again!

SHANNA AND MIKE ARE THE BEST! We felt like we were hanging out with our two close friends the entire day. They help to make you feel so comfortable. I first met them at my cousin’s wedding, I was so impressed with both of them. Not only are they both so professional, but the photos they take are beyond beautiful! My husband and I met with them for our engagement photos, it was an awesome experience! They taught us how to pose, made us laugh, and we just had an awesome day with them. The photos were returned to us in great time and there were SO MANY TO CHOOSE FROM! The wedding day was the same! Mike is a man of few words but masters that camera to capture the moments you didn’t even know were happening. Shanna. What can I say?! She’s hilarious and a magician behind the camera! They felt like part of the family, as my wedding party joked, they joined in too, (sorry low knees 😏) and what about the final product you may wonder... there are no words. My husband and I will cherish these photos for the rest of our days! Every time I look at them I find a new treasure I missed from the viewing before! Shanna and Mike were absolutely incredible. I haven't even received my photos yet, but the quality of the few I saw so far are outstanding. They were also super excited to take some ridiculous photos with fog machines and wrestling belts, since that was a big thing for my husband. They laughed and went along with all of our craziness. Not only are the photos incredible, but Shanna made me super comfortable, eased all my concerns, and made sure I had nothing to worry about. There was a moment when I felt everything was going wrong, and I would miss some photos, but she reassured me that they would be flexible and still capture everything I wanted. She was like my personal calming coach for the day! She also made me feel even more like a princess than I already felt, which I didn't think was possible. Highly recommend both her and Mike for your wedding day. You will not be disappointed.

We can't say enough good things about Shanna & Mike of HOLP! They were recommended by a friend, and we're SOOOOO glad we decided to go with them. Although we had our initial meeting via Skype because of our schedules, Shanna made us feel completely comfortable. This then translated to making us feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera during our engagement session and on our wedding day.
Shanna & Mike are absolutely fantastic, and I'm also pretty sure that they're part ninja. Most of the time on our wedding day we had no idea that they were capturing photos. Where do I even start??? My pictures were probably the most important thing about my wedding to me (besides my dress of course) Shanna and Mike are absolutely AMAZING!!!! Not only are they crazy talented but they are the best to work with! They make you feel super relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera and they are so much fun! They do a great job capturing lots of pictures in a timely manner so you can still enjoy cocktail hour with your guests. One of the huge benefits to having this husband/wife duo photograph your wedding, is the fact that Shanna can get pictures of the ladies getting ready while Mike can get pictures of the men! loved that! I didn't give them any specific shots or poses I wanted because I fully trust their skills, and was NOT disappointed! My pictures came out so beautiful, I cant even count how many people told me they were some of the best they'd seen, magazine material even! Every time I see other wedding pictures from other photographers, I cant help but think that Im SO happy to have gone with HOLP, because while other photographers are good and all...they aren't nearly as good as Shanna and Mike!!

Once I booked my venue the next thing I wanted to check off the list was a photographer. After asking for recommendations, I reached out to several different photographers. Shanna responded immediately and within no time we set up a time to meet. In the first 2 minutes of sitting with Mike and Shanna, I knew we were going to hire them. They had a beautiful portfolio but more importantly they made us feel comfortable instantly. The best way to describe them is the dynamic duo. Miss Shanna was outgoing and bubbly and someone I knew I wanted there on my wedding day. Mike was more laid back a little soft spoken which was a perfect fit because my husband has never been a fan of cameras in his face. Through the whole planning process She was very responsive and a few times just checked In and asked how the planning was going. On the wedding day they were nothing short of amazing. I never realized exactly how important a wedding photographer was until the day after my wedding when everything was a blur. As soon as Shanna started posting pictures, I instantly remembered that moment and everything about it. House of Lubold has given us hundreds of amazing images with memories that will last a lifetime. I will always recommend them and would definitely hire them again even if it was just to hang out. :) Needless to say these two are super talented and genuine, nice people.

It doesn't get any better than this husband wife duo! Shanna and Mike were the easiest to talk to and made us feel as if we've known them forever. They knew all the best spots to take pictures, while also finding new and other creative angles to get the best photo. They know their stuff when it comes to photography and all of our photos came out beautiful. They kept us on track with time and helped carrying flowers, fluffing dresses, and fixing boutnieers. I plan to use Mike and Shanna for all of our photo needs from here on out- that's how much I enjoyed working with them and the quality of their work.

The Lubolds are amazing and I will recommend them to everyone! I was married in 2014, when their business was on the newer side. I felt like I hit the jackpot. Through all of our prewedding planning, I found them to be immediate friends. But extremely talented, professional and experienced friends!! Everyone has different taste and a different style, but if magical, artistic, nuanced, personal and documentary is your thing - you won’t be disappointed. I’ve trusted them with my wedding photos, boudoir photos and maternity photos and have never been disappointed. They’re timely and prepared. They knew when to disappear and capture moments and when to organize and take charge to get the photos we’d requested. My only complaint is I wish they could have hung out as guests longer 😉 They were a pleasure to spend the best day of my life with and left me with photos I will cherish forever.
